Im a rank amateur and frequently find myself in the weeds during the middlegame. This app can show you a series of graded moves as well as threats from the other side. When comfortable, turn these features off and rely on your wits. My middlegame, while not where it needs to be, has vastly improved because of this app.

My cousins are learning how to play chess with this app and the many game features are very well done too. Much thanks

Easy to learn and use. Ive played chess off and on for years (I am 77; began playing as a child in elementary school). I am far from expert ability. This app helps me learn moves to improve my game.

Being new at chess this is a great game to learn from. I like that it has so many different skill levels.

I love this app. I have learned a lot by simply playing whenever I feel like it. By playing, one also learn some of the more obscure rules.

Great way to play and learn chess. Love the settings and how you can play against various level of skill, and the "suggestions" on move options.

I especially love that the different difficulty levels are metered off similar to chess rankings. (600, 700, 800, etc)

Great design, informative rules, over all nice quality. It would be great to add online chess with a friend feature.

This is a great download. Whether you want to play vs computer or another person. Works great on iPad an iPhone. It also has a sort of tutorial mode that shows you the best moves. Nice job.
